My favorite Mexican taqueria in OKC! I went at dinner time and it wasn't as busy as lunchtime. I ordered my food to go and got a pork gordita with rice and beans. It was amazing! The queso and chips were deliciTheir horchata is great as well. When I go back (and it'll be soon) I'll probably call in my to go order instead of going in person. The wait was a little long, but I'd double my wait time for the delicious meal I got there. There was a lot of seating and parking. The place was very clean as well. I loved the atmosphere. Highly, highly recommend!
2019 update: Everything I've tried is amazing and now it is my goal to try everything on their menu. To be continued..... -

Love this place as it is authentic and excellent. It is in a strip mall off Memorial and one wouldn't think of stopping. But do..please do if you like good Mexican.

I would say the food tastes okay here, but three days later my husband is still battling their al pastor if you get my meaning.
Prices are a bit higher than usual OKC taquerias on some items like tacos ($1.80 mini, $2.25 regular), but fair on others. Service was ho-hum here, expressionless, not very friendly. And the older parents tend to stare at folks different than them. Made us feel uncomfortable.
I guess I'll comment on the food too. Many of their meats come already mixed in spicy hot sauce so be aware of that. Hubby said al pastor was just too spicy. Carne asada taco was oily but had good flavor. Avoid their gordita, bread was much too hard and difficult to eat. Plus it was improperly side-loaded, so all lettuce on one side, all pork on the other.
As you csn tell, it was a bad meal all around. -

Tried this place yesterday on a lark, and I loved it! I live for good Mexican food and good salsa and this place had it. The regular salsa they serve was very, very tasty and had a good bite to it. The guacamole was excellent. The tacos were lovely, especially with that salsa heaped on top. My highest recommendation goes to the salsa especial. Churned gleefully at my table, and with a nice dose of avocado in it (there was no need to order the guacamole), it was the true star of the show - not as spicy as the regular hot sauce, but delicious!
Great prices. With no over abundance of salt or sugar in anything (too much sugar in the savory these days is a trend I abhor, especially in salsa), this place has shot to that upper stratosphere of places I must return to. I may even go back today. -

Everything at this place is fantastic. Authentic, delicious and very good portion size. From the chips, salsa and queso to the meats and tortillas, I am very impressed and will be back many times. I have recommended this place to all my friends and co-workers.
